Terrific property, has good and approachable staff in customer service and friendliness. Nice small and delicious breakfast with St Viateur bagels daily.

The location is great, very easy to get to from the eastern townships, very easy access to old Montreal by foot, and the Bell Centre is also within an easy walking distance.
The television was not working while we were there, and without an ipod or other device it was very quiet in the room. I also found the decor in the bathroom to be very cold and institutional and lacking in personality.

great place for walks and exploring old montreal
Everything in Old Montreal is just a few steps away from this hotel, making it a fantastic base for exploring the vibrant area, and with the beautiful art pieces throughout the halls, I felt immersed in the local culture as a solo traveler.

The building is lovely and each floor and room is filled with contemporary art work. The staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful and friendly. We were there with two other couples and all enjoyed our stay. We hope to return again to L'Hotel.

Great art collection. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.
Booked.net did not charge for the room at the time of booking but gave that impression. This caused a little confusion at chech out when the hotel did charge me.

The staff was very professional, pleasent and extremely helpful. Artwork decorating the hotel is much more interesting than what is displayed in most hotels. Location very close to restaurants, galleries, museums and waterfront of old montreal is ideal for walking. Would recommend lhotel to anyone seking an intimant and charming hotel.

Eclectic art collection displayed, genuine friendliness of most of the staff. Very good location, lovely room---the Frank Stella Suite!
Problem with shower, suspicion of manager that we were somehow complicit in it. Not a big deal!
